La Torre Golf
Resort - Polaris World
With
completion scheduled for 2006, La Torre Golf Resort
occupies an area of 1,400,000 m2 with an 18 hole golf course designed by
Jack Nicklaus. The resort is superbly situated near to the Murcia-San
Javier highway, with easy access to beaches, towns and airports. The
historic centre of Murcia, with its imposing architecture, bustling
plazas, and trendy bars and cafes is a short drive, while the
therapeutic waters of the Mar Menor are a short distance to the east.
The
magnificent resort center at La Torre will be built
around a splendid lake and will include a social center and a large
variety of international restaurants, cafes and pubs, a luxury Crowne
Plaza hotel with 200 rooms, congress centre, spas and fitness centres,

Polaris World Hospital and International School, run by the prestigious
King´s College.
