Africa is a wonderful Continent, full of beauty, adventure and mystery, explored by millions and yet undiscovered by the majority. Africa is once again enthralling modern day exporers from Morocco in the north, The Cape Verde Islands in the Atlantic, South Africa in the very south and Egypt and the United Arab Emirates in the east.

But this time the goal is not to bring back spices, precious jewels and minerals, but to invest in a new market. Off plan investment and international tourism are the new Kings of the Jungle.

As cheap flights expand across the globe, so does the inclination for tourists to discover new pastures in countries filled with majestic history. Dubai was the debutante in African and Middle Eastern development, underwritten by the Arab Royal Families and developed with international investment and then a little later by multi-national developers, followed swiftly by the family and medium sized investors.

Recently we have seen the emergence of South Africa as a place in which to enjoy holidays and invest a little. But we can now include a new breed of overseas properties such as Cape Verde, Morocco and Egypt. Some resorts are being developed in well known cities whilst others are being created from scratch on the dust and sand that overlooks breathtaking vistas of mountains, deserts, lakes and oceans.

Egypt  - The areas surrounding The Red Sea, such as The Sinai Peninsula are the new areas in which to invest. Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh are now being marketed to families as well as the regular scuba diving and watersports enthusiasts that discovered the area years ago. New resort style homes and apartments by the beaches and within a short distance from five star hotels and spas are the best investments especially if you are investing with a view to re-sell the property or to rent it out. Morocco  - From the north of Morocco, bordering the Mediterranean, to the Atlantic shores as far south as Casablanca and Marrakesh you will find a growing number of new resorts. Some are high end and glitzy whilst the majority simply offer 4 and 5 star accomodations - the choice of property is more than varied, from beachside studios to stunning mansions on private golf courses.
