Location Details
The Jardin de Fleur development is situated
within the much larger Mediterranea Saidia resort, part of King
Mohammed´s "Plan Azur" Program. Mediterranea Saidia (resort) is
around 7,000,000m2 in total and the apartments on this phase one
part of development are located just behind the huge 850 berth
Marina.
Saidia itself is located on the North Moroccan coast, East of
Tangier and Melilla and west of the Algerian border. If you were to
draw a line directly from Saidia to Spain you would be on the
Almeria coast. The "as the crow flies distance" between these two
locations is around 180km.
You can reach Saidia by air using either Oujda (favoured), Nador or
Melilla airports. Its also possible to take a ferry from Malaga or
Almeria on the Spanish mainland coast.
Local climate
The climate in Mediterrania Saidia is
virtually identical to that of Southern Spain. This consists of
long dry summers with regular beach days from april through to late
September and mild winters requiring a light jumper from October
through till March.
Rainfall occurs mostly from November through till March and although
most is light there are some heavy showers during this period.
